JDRF Workshop & Summit

As an advocate for those with Type 1 Diabetes having been diagnosed with it as a child herself, Padmaja Kumari Parmar hosted the JDRF ImPatient Network Brainstorming Summit from August 19th - 21st at the MMCF Conference Hall at The City Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Many patient advocates were in attendance from numerous nonprofits and organizations to engage in deep discussions, workshops, and more to prioritize future T1D advocacy activities in India and beyond.

Sessions were organized and led by Renza Scibilia and Priyanka Rai from JDRF International and JDRF’s Vice President of Global Access, Tom Robinson, also joined in virtually.
