23rd Family Business Network International Summit - London
Ms. Padmaja Kumari Mewar, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited London to attend the Family Business Network 23rd International Summit in London from 3rd -6th October 2012.
On the 3rd October Ms. Mewar attended a welcome reception of the FBNI held at the National Portrait Gallery.
On the 4th October Ms. Mewar attended the opening programme of the FBNI Seminar at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster. The session started with talks by Mr. Thierry Lombard, Managing Partner of Lombard Odier, Darier Hentsch and Cie and Mr. Ross Warburton, Chairman, Warburton Bakeries. Keynote speakers were Lord Green, Sir Peter Rigby and Mr. George Kohlrieser.
On the 5th October Ms. Mewar attended the 2nd day of the summit when Shriji was the session's speaker at a workshop on The House of Mewar - Stewardship through 76 generations where, in discussion with Professor Ajay Bhalla he talked about the meaning and relevance of Stewardship in 2012. Professor Bhalla introduced The House of Mewar that has been a case study where, over a period of two years, the issues of Custodianship were studied by Professor John Ward of the Kellogg School of Management and Professor K. Ramachandran of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
